Monthly Inflation Report for January 2018 EFY,
indicating a significant decline in inflation across the national economy.

- Year-on-year general inflation: 9.8%
(Down from 16.9% in November 2017 EFY) - Month-on-month general inflation: –1.4%
(Compared to –0.8% in November 2017 EFY)

Major contributors:
- Meat (13.8%)
- Milk, Cheese and Eggs (14.8%)
- Oils and Fats (14.0%)
- Fruits (13.3%)
- Sugar, jam, honey & chocolate (14.2%)
- Vegetables (5.4%)
- Bread and cereals (2.4%)
🏠 Non-Food Inflation
Non-food inflation stood at 9.0% year-on-year in January EFY 2018.
