  • Meat — 12.9%
  • Milk, Cheese and Eggs — 13.7%
  • Oils and Fats — 13.0%
  • Fruits — 11.0%
  • Sugar, jam, honey & chocolate — 12.9%
  • Vegetables — 7.4%
  • Bread and cereals — 4.2%

These commodities significantly contributed to the rise in food inflation, reflecting continued pressure on household food expenditure.

The non-food inflation rate stood at 8.1% year-on-year in February 2018 EFY.
