The fieldwork for the Meher (main harvest) season Agricultural Sample Survey is progressing smoothly, as confirmed during a field visit conducted by the institution’s Public Relations and Communication Team to enumeration areas in Eteya, Koka, and Wanji under the Adama Branch Office.
Similarly, data collection activities are successfully underway across all 27 branch offices, covering a total of 3,150 rural and 1,480 urban enumeration areas nationwide.
The Agricultural Sample Survey is a core function of the institution, conducted annually to produce essential statistical data regarding national agricultural productivity, crop yield growth, livestock resources and contributions, as well as other key agriculture-related indicators.
