The main objectives of the annual survey of Large and Medium-Scale Manufacturing and Electricity Industries are to obtain basic statistical data essential for policymakers, planners, and researchers by industrial group, while collecting quantitative information on employment, production volume, raw materials, structure, and industry performance. Additionally, the survey compiles critical data to serve as an input for the System of National Accounts (SNA) across these establishments as a whole and by industrial group. Finally, it aims to determine the number of proprietors engaged in these sectors and identify the major operational bottlenecks they face, providing the necessary insights for planning and executing effective government intervention programs.
