A workshop aimed at improving the content of the Annual Statistical Abstract, one of the statistical data sources provided by the Ethiopian Statistics Service (ESS), is currently underway in Adama city.

W/ro Tiru Zeru Tana’e, Executive Officer of Social and Inclusive Statistics, who opened the workshop, stated that the workshop was organized because it is necessary to improve and update the content of the Annual Statistical Abstract that the institution has been providing in recent years to match the current needs of data users. She also conveyed a message for participants to work diligently and attentively to ensure the success of the activities planned for the workshop.

Experts from various departments of the institution’s head office are participating in the workshop. It was noted that preliminary preparation activities focused on how to improve the content of the Annual Statistical Abstract, the preparation timeline, relations with data sources, and other related issues will be conducted.
